J.M.J.
Dear Friend of Our Lady,
A short time ago I was in Fatima and the other holy
places where Our Lord and Our Lady appeared to Sister
Lucy. There I met with hundreds of bishops, priests
and lay people at our Last Chance for World Peace Conference.
A short time ago I was in Fatima and the other holy
places where Our Lord and Our Lady appeared to Sister
Lucy. There I met with hundreds of bishops, priests
and lay people at our Last Chance for World Peace Conference.
These numbers mean we are succeeding!
What is the significance of this high attendance?
It means that the bishops and priests are finally starting
to get the Fatima Message!
In spite of the campaign to silence Sister Lucy, RIP, in spite of the campaign to silence me, and in
spite of the false claims that the Consecration of Russia
has already been done, Catholic bishops and priests
are showing by their attendance that they are eager
to learn more about Our Lady’s Message...and eager to
do something about it.
What I am seeing and hearing is a great hunger to
know Heaven’s Peace Plan. With World War III looming
in the Middle East, and the revived Russian Bear threatening
the nations of the world, it can hardly be otherwise.
Every day we read of not just man-made but also natural
disasters. Earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, and the
like, batter our troubled world, with threats of even
worse to come.
In 1951 Pope Pius XII wrote in an encyclical: “The
world now is worse than before the Flood.” What would
that great Pope say about the state of the world today?
What man of faith today does not fear a chastisement
of mankind even greater than the Deluge? Indeed, even
non-believers sense that the world is headed toward
a calamity never seen before.
Only Our Lady can save us
Now, at last, many good bishops and priests are awakening
to the reality of Our Lady’s warning, “If people do
not cease offending God” then God will “punish the world
for its crimes by means of war, famine, persecutions
of the Church and of the Holy Father.”
Our Lady said to prevent these chastisements She would
come to ask for Communions of Reparation on the First
Saturdays and the Consecration of Russia. She said, “If
what I tell you is done, many souls will be saved and
there will be peace”.
Now, at last, these few bishops and priests are beginning
to recognize their duty to make Our Lady’s Fatima Message
known and obeyed, so the lives and souls of BILLIONS
can be saved.
Jesus Himself told Sister Lucy, “Make it known to
My ministers, given they follow the example of the King
of France in delaying the execution of My command (to
consecrate Russia), they will follow him (the King of
France) into misfortune”.
Now, at last, these few bishops and priests know that
we can wait no longer. They do not wish to suffer the
fate of the kings of France. Their failure from 1689
to 1789 to do as Our Lord commanded, led to the downfall
of the French monarchy and the beheading of King Louis
XVI.
At Fatima, Our Lady told us how to fight apostasy
and spare the world from Divine punishment. The key
is to consecrate Russia to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.
When the Consecration is finally done, Russia will
be converted and peace will be given to the whole world.
With this peace, and the conversion of Russia, will
come an end to the present crisis in the Church which
was foretold in the Third Secret.
I have thought and prayed long and hard about what
more we priests can do. By God’s Grace over time it
came to me. Jesus said: “Make it known to My ministers...”— His bishops and His priests. Who better to tell priests
than other priests, who better to tell bishops than
priests and bishops?
We need a priests’ movement...NOW
At Last Chance for World Peace we asked the bishops
and priests who believe in the Fatima Message, who trust
in Our Lady’s promise of peace, to take action NOW!
They need not wait for any permission to act. They
are entitled — no, obliged! — to speak out wherever
they are, with whatever means God puts at their disposal,
to make Her Message known and obeyed all over the world.
For too long now, I have been trying to do this alone.
Or at least that’s the way it has seemed. Although I
know I can count on the support of thousands of good
Catholics like you, sometimes I feel like St. John the
Baptist, crying in the wilderness.
I keep praying that Our Lord and His Blessed Mother
will send others, especially priests, to help carry
this great burden.
No one priest can do this alone. As those who have
been placed most directly in contact with the lay faithful,
we must band together to make Our Lady’s Fatima Message
known.
This is what I told my brother priests at our Conference
in October. I called on them to begin a great movement
in the Church for adherence to the Message of Fatima
by all members of the Church, no matter what their station
or rank.
My vision: The Fatima Movement of Priests
I proposed to the bishops and my fellow priests the
founding of The Fatima Movement of Priests (FMP).
My vision is of a spiritual movement of Roman Catholic
priests — from all over the world — each and every
one pledged to promote to laity and clergy both the
understanding of and obedience to the Fatima Message.
There is a place too for members of the laity. Working
and praying together in small groups or cenacles, we
can promote Our Lady’s Message in our own localities.
And by many of us acting locally, we can make Our Lady’s
voice heard around the world!
Seven things members of the Movement will do
To be an effective member of the Movement will require
a serious and prayerful commitment, on the part of priests
and laity alike.
As a minimum, we priests and lay people must be prepared
to consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
and promise Our Blessed Mother to do seven things:
- Pray five decades of the Rosary every day, wear
the Brown Scapular at all times and promote these devotions;
- Do our duty always (above all in truth and charity),
according to our station, first of all to God the Father,
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to the Immaculate Heart
of Mary, to our Holy Catholic Faith, to the One Holy
Catholic Apostolic Church, and to our vows;
- Read, study and pray all we can about Fatima, so
we make ourselves good preachers and teachers on this
all-important subject and form fervent prayer cenacles;
- Make the urgent, essential and basic contents of
the Fatima Message known to as many others as possible,
as well as form more devoted souls in the school of
sanctity of Fatima, especially by promoting the First
Saturday Devotions;
- Defend the Message and the messengers of Fatima
against the errors, attacks and ridicule of its enemies
from within or outside the Church.
- Defend the truth of the Fatima Message, defend the
right of the Queen of Heaven and Primordial Obligation
that all members of the Church have, to obey all the
Fatima requests.
- Do everything in our power, without fear, to ensure
that the Fatima Message is known, understood, appreciated,
and above all, obeyed.
The special role of priests
Making the Fatima Message known requires proclaiming, explaining, clarifying, defending and preaching. The spoken and written word carries more power when it comes from a priest.
While lay people can use the media, the internet and discussion groups to spread the word, only priests are called to
preach with the authority of the Church behind them.
As the “Fatima Priest”, I have so many requests to speak at conferences, to make statue visits, and so on, that I can’t possibly honor them all. Sometimes I wish I could bilocate so I could be in several places at once!
What is needed, and what I hope will come out of The Fatima Movement of Priests, is a “speakers bureau” of faithful priests who will be able to go in my place.
The Movement’s priests will also have a special role in teaching the lay members, and organizing the prayer and reparation cenacles where we can meet together to pray, learn and support each other in the love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Faithful lay people must support the priests
People like you, committed to the Movement, will have much to do, above and beyond giving your prayer and financial support.
You will be asked to “adopt” a priest, and a bishop. The priest could be the priest who is part of your cenacle. He might be your parish priest, or a FMP priest in a land far away who
needs to feel that he is not alone.
When you adopt a priest, you will commit to praying for him, encouraging him, perhaps assisting him to organize cenacles, statue visits and other Fatima outreach activities.
This way the priests of the Movement will know that they are not alone, that they have helpers they can count on.
My three requests to you
I put my vision before the priests and bishops assembled at Fatima in October. With the help of your prayers, I remain hopeful that many more will support the idea of the Fatima Movement of Priests and be eager to join and commit themselves to it. Please pray hard for this intention.
Now that a core group of priests is in place, we are opening the doors to faithful lay people. So I make this, my second request:
If you are as excited and motivated by my vision, please use the enclosed reply form to show us your interest.
If, as I hope and pray, you become a member of the Movement, you will receive:
- A Certificate of Enrollment, suitable for framing;
- A Membership Card to identify you as a member of your cenacle;
- The latest Fatima literature, including books and DVD’s which we would normally
have to sell, yours FREE as a member of the Movement.
Most important, you will receive the special graces and blessings which flow to you from your work and prayer in the Movement.
My third request is your financial support for The Fatima Movement of Priests.
We are going to try to keep the Movement simple. We are not going to have a headquarters and fancy offices.
All the members of the Movement, priests and lay people alike, will keep their “day jobs”, so they will not depend on
your generosity for support.
However, I’m sure you realize that the work itself will need your
financial support. I am asking you to make a donation to get
The Fatima Movement of Priests off the ground.
Here are some of the things your gift will be used for:
- Priests will have to be educated and trained to go out and preach the Fatima Message;
- They will need a stipend to cover their living and travel expenses while they are out on preaching missions;
- Each cenacle should have its own beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima;
- We will need Fatima manuals and books for study, and literature for distribution to others;
- We should also have a supply of sacramentals — rosaries, scapulars,
Miraculous Medals, and the like — for use in our meetings and our apostolic
outreach.
All these things require money. Even if you don’t feel led to join the Movement, I am asking you to contribute to its
support.
Let me say again how important this work is. The Mother of God has warned us that failure to heed Her requests at Fatima will mean the loss of many souls (possibly BILLIONS) and annihilation “of various nations”.
The duty of priests of the Holy Catholic Church is clear. I and my brothers must do everything in our power to make the Message of Fatima known and obeyed.
The duty of lay people — YOUR duty — is to help our priests in this
vital work.
The Fatima Movement of Priests is the ideal vehicle by which our God-given mission can be accomplished. I humbly ask you to help us.
As you consider these, my three requests, I pray that Our Lady of Fatima will guide you. Please let me hear from you soon.
Yours in Jesus, Mary
and Joseph,
Father Nicholas Gruner
P.S. I feel so hopeful about this Fatima Movement of Priests. Please let me know that I have your prayers, your approval of the plan and your financial support, as soon as possible.
